On Sunday 12 February Mark Thomas, the well known comedian, documentary maker and social activist, will run a day long workshop for young people. The aim of the workshop is to show young people how their experiences and observations of life are rich material for performance. By the end of the day you will either have produced a performance or a video.
It is organised by NEAT and will take place at The Orangery from 11am to 4pm. There are no costs but you’ll need to bring lunch. A group of young people will meet at Next Gen at 10.30am to go over together. All young people aged 12 and older are welcome!
The workshop is organised by NEAT Wakefield. NEAT aims to give everyone the chance to tell their stories through art, drama, writing, music, photography or whatever: Stories are important; everyone has story, so everyone is important. See NEAT’s website: www.neat.uk.com for more information
